👋 Introduction
Switch your Bluetooth Magic peripherals between Macs by name.
bt-switch hands your Bluetooth peripherals — Magic Trackpad, Magic Keyboard, mouse — between Macs with a single named command. It wraps blueutil so you never have to dig through System Settings or copy MAC addresses by hand.
It is built for people who switch Macs often (work + personal, desktop + laptop) and share the same peripherals across them.

The one hardware limit
Apple Magic peripherals bond to a single host — they are not multipoint. Moving a device from one Mac to another therefore requires putting it back into pairing mode (hold the power button until the LED blinks). No software can remove that physical step. bt-switch makes everything around it one command, and reconnects silently when a device is already bonded to the current Mac.
